Έχουμε μπει για τα καλά στην Άνοιξη και είναι ώρα να μοιραστώ μαζί σας όλες τις beauty αγορές του προηγούμενου μήνα. Μερικές ήταν μεγάλη επιτυχία άλλες ... όχι και τόσο! Έχουμε και λέμε λοιπον.
Ήθελα από καιρό να τη δοκιμάσω τις νέες multitasking μάσκες της L'Oreal και μόλις είδα ότι είχαν έκπτωση στο ράφι, άρπαξα την ευκαιρία. Αγόρασα την L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask, η οποία υπόσχεται ότι η σύνθεσή της μαγνιτίζει τους ρύπους και καθαρίζει την επιδερμίδα σε βάθος. Δεν έχω καταφέρει να βρω χρόνο να την χρησιμοποιήσω όμως μόλις το κάνω θα σας ενημερώσω με πλήρες review.
Στα πολύ παλιά χρόνια, χρησιμοποιούσα κάτι υπέροχες ταινίες της Nivea (αν θυμάμαι καλά), οι οποιες όμως σταμάτησαν. Ευτυχώς, στην τελευταία επίσκεψη στα Sephora έπεσα πάνω στις Charcoal Nose Strip και σκέφτηκα να τις δοκιμάσω. Τίποτα το σπουδαίο, κάνει αυτό που πρέπει και τίποτα παραπάνω.
Είμαι μεγάλη οπαδός των dry shampoo και σκέφτηκα να αντικαστήσω το Batiste Original (μπορείτε να διαβάστε εδώ το σχετικό review) με το Heavenly Volume. Μεγάλο λάθος! Αφήνει μια περίεργη αίσθηση στα μαλλιά και το άρωμά του είναι τόσο δυνατό που δεν μπορώ να το χρησιμοποιήσω το βράδυ πριν κοιμηθώ. Επιπλέον ο όγκος που χαρίζει - τουλάχιστον στα δικά μου μαλλιά - είναι τόσο αφύσικος. Θα ξαναγυρίσω στο Original που με είχε βολέψει πολύ!
Άνοιξη χωρίς νέα κραγιόν δεν γίνεται! Έτσι λοιπόν αγόρασα 2 το μήνα που πέρασε. Το υπέροχο Longlasting lipstick της Essence σε κοραλί απόχρωση (01 coral calling). Υπέροχο ανοιξιάτικο χρώμα με μεγάλη διάρκεια που δεν ξηραίνει τα χείλη. Στα θετικά του και η ματ μαύρη συσκευασία του με το λογότυπο της εταιρείας πάνω στο προϊόν αλλά και το χρωματιστό δακτυλίδι ίδιο με το χρώμα του κραγιόν που σου επιτρέπει να βρίσκεις πάντα το σωστό μέσα στο νεσεσέρ!
Επίσης αγόρασα το Velvet Matte της Golden Rose σε nude απόχρωση (31). Χαρίζει υπέροχο ματ βελούδινο τελείωμα με μεγάλη διάκρεια και επιπλέον θρέφει και ενυδατώνει τα χείλη.
Τέλος, μιλώντας για ενυδάτωση δεν θα μπορούσα να παραλείψω το αγαπημένο Vaseline Intensive Care ενυδατικό γαλάκτωμα σώματος σε μορφή spray, το οποίο βρήκε ξανά τη θέση του στο ντουλάπι του μπάνιου. Το αγαπώ διότι εκτός από το υπέροχο άρωμά του (αυτό με το κακάο είναι το αγαπημένο μου!) ενυδατώνει σε βάθος το δέρμα, χωρίς να κολλάει και το κυριότερο ... στεγνώνει αμέσως.

We are deep in April so I thought it would be fun to share with you my beauty buys for March. Some of them were a big hit while others not so much. Anyway, here we go.
I wanted for a long time to try the new L'Oreal multitasking masks so when I saw that they were 30% off, I grab the L'Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask, as it was suited for my skin type. It says that it detoxifies and illuminates the skin in just 10 minutes. I've not found the time to check it out yet but as soon as I do, I'll share with you my full review.
Back in the days, I used regularly some great Nivea nose strips that were discontinued. During my latest visit at Sephora I've found Charcoal Nose Strip and thought to give it a try. It works just fine, just like what every other nose strip does. Nothing more, nothing less.
I'm a huge fan of dry shampoo and I thought to replace my Batiste Original (you can read here my review) with Heavenly Volume. Huge, huge mistake! It leaves a strange feeling in the hair and it has such a heavy smell that it's impossible for me to use it before going to bed. Of course it gives volume but - for my hair - seems a little un-natural. I'm switching back to Original that I love!
There is no Spring without some new lipsticks! I've bought two in March (although I wanted some more). The lovely Essence Longlasting lipstick in a beautiful coral shade (01 coral calling). Gorgeous color, perfect for Spring (and Summer) that lasts long without destroying the lips. Added bonus the brand logo on the product and its matt black package with the colored ring that allows you to find the right one inside an overloaded beauty bag!
Also I've bought a Golden Rose Velvet Matte Lipstick in a beautiful nude shade (31). It gives such a velvet matte finish that lasts long and hydrated the lips.
Speaking about hydration, I couldn't have left out my favorite Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser, that is back in my bathroom cupboard. I love it, not only for its amazing smell (I love Cocoa) but it hydrated deeply my skin without sticking and most of all .. dries out quickly.

Καθώς ο Φεβρουάριος μας αποχαιρετά, σκέφτηκα να μοιραστώ μαζί σας μερικές από τις beauty αγορές μου.
Θα ξεκινήσω με την ενυδατική, αντιρυτιδική κρέμα προσώπου Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Moisturizer και την κρέμα ματιών Clinique Smart Custom Repair Eye Treatment της ίδιας σειράς, οι οποίες ήρθαν για να αντικαταστήσουν την Clinique Superdefense Daily και την All About Eyes αντίστοιχα. Χρησιμοποιούσα χρόνια τις δύο αυτές κρέμες και είμαι απόλυτα ευχαριστημένη αλλά κλείνω τα 40 σύντομα και μια "αναβάθμιση" ήταν απαραίτητη (γεράματα βλέπετε!!). Το σχετικό review ετοιμάζεται!
Τι να πει κανείς για την Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara; Μια μάσκαρα που προσφέρει και όγκο και μήκος. Την αγάπησα από την πρώτη στιγμή (review).
Πάλι από την εταιρεία Essence, η νέα παλέτα My Must Haves. Πρόκειται για μια άδεια παλέτα με 4 ή 8 θέσεις την οποία "χτίζεις" μόνη σου. Επιλέγεις ανάμεσα από μια μεγάλη ποικιλία από σκιές, ρουζ, κραγιόν, highlighter, bronzer και πούδρα και φτιάχνεις την δική σου. Εγώ ξεκίνησα με δύο σκιές (1 και 5) και θα προσθέσω τα υπόλοιπα στην πορεία.

As February is coming to an end, I thought to share with you my beauty buys of the month.
I'll start with Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Moisturizer Cream and Clinique Smart Custom Repair Eye Treatment that replaced in my beauty routine the Clinique Superdefence Daily Moisturizer and All About Eyes Cream that I've been using for year. The fact is that I'm turning 40 this May (OMG!!) so an "upgrade" was necessary (a review will be posted soon).
What more to say about Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara? (find my review here). A unique product that provides lashes with dramatic volume and sculpted length. I love it.
For the end, I have another Essence product, the My Must Haves Palette. It is an empty 4 or 8 color palette that you can personalize any way you like. There is a wide variety of eyeshadows (20), blushes (5), lip powders (3), highlighter, bronzer and fixing powder to choose from. You simply select your favorite products and use the special click-mechanism to place them in the multifunctional palette. I started mine with two eyeshadows (no. 1 and 5) and I will add more soon.
Also I bought the Essence Studio Nails all in one complete care. I'm having my nails done at a salon on a regular basis but I notice that after a while they get weak, so every now and then I let them rest. So I bought this for a at-home nail treatment. Getting home I realized that it is not the right product for the use I wanted (I guess I'd have bought instead the Essence Triple Care). It can be used as a base coat or a top coat, so I'm keeping it for future use.
